We have basicaly two bloodlines of our very own, the UglyDog, and then there are the big White Dogs, also labeled "Amerigos". We have also added a line of Registerd Catahoulas, but the Catahoulas, we cannot take credit for, as the basics were already there, we are just able to pick up some of others peoples experience and continue with generations of already proven stock dog bloodlines, that have really caught our attention. Nothing is bred on this dog yard without having proven itself, where it really counts, working, in the woods. Then it has to meet the tuff standards for temperment evaluation, on the individual dog, and its parentage. The dog has to have a Stable Temperment, Intense Prey Drive, Intellegence, Agile & Athletic, This is a whole package, then appearance in Conformation will follow as being the least important, considered more the wrapping on the Package.
We take breeding our own dogs very serious, So serious in fact that we limit the breeding to a limited amount of dogs being produced in order to maintain responsibilty of quality of animal and the quality of life the dog will be subjected to. Too many times, in my life I have heard the term "dime a dozen" by people refferering to a breed or type of dog. We have no intentions of allowing dogs we produce or their offspring being labeled as "dime a dozen" in performance or abilty.
